The Customer Journey Game - Restaurant Edition is an interactive business board game designed around a customer restaurant visit, to promote employee engagement in building a customer-centric culture in the dining industry. The innovative board design replicates the stages of a customer journey restaurant visit, as well 10 touch points along the way. Touch points include customer arrival experience, seating experience, ordering and customer service experience.

​The game increases employee understanding of the end-to-end journey by emphazising how each customer engagement, either positively or negatively impacts an entire experience.  The game enables employees to realize their impact on customer experiences and consider how they can  contribute to a smoother customer experience in the future.

Designed to drive employee engagement in a fun and immersive environment, the game is an ideal interactive activity or ice breaker to cultivate a customer centric culture.  Games are relevant for all levels of staff and can be played at:-

  • corporate events, 
  • sale meetings
  • customer service training
  • onboarding sessions

One game box accommodates up to 8 players in a team. The Customer Journey Game Restaurant Edition bundle contains 4 x game boxes and accommodates a maximum of 32 players per session. The game lasts approximately 90 minutes.

Setting up the game is easy, instructions are on the lid of the box and a 'train the trainer' video is available on request.

​Employee feedback is an essential element of the game. At the end of the game, players are asked to share ideas on how the company can improve the customer journey, in line with the key pillars of customer experience; being peopleprocesses, and technology. This feedback fosters employee engagement and creates ownership of the individuals contribution to an improved customer journey in the future. Employees are also asked to commit to 3 quick fixes that they could do tomorrow, to improve their role in driving a frictionless customer experience in the future.
